Van Cleef & Arpels
Le grand tour
We had the privilege to collaborate with Van Cleef & Arpels on a regular basis. This time we had to create 5 films to unveil the 2023 High Jewelry Collection inspired by the Grand Tour, a cultural phenomenon popular during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Each creation is a craftsmanship’s masterpiece.
Filming in 8k and motion control allow us to create films that let the viewer feel the exceptional quality of each jewel.
Each collection’s pieces are associated with a city, one stop of “le grand tour”.
The Cornucopia clip is inspired by Rome.
Also associated with Rome, the Piazza Divina necklace,
inspired by the baroque architecture celebrates the art of fine jewellery.
The Laurier Impérial Clip with its engraved 3rd century sapphire represents the Roman Emperor Caracalla.
8K camera, high-end macro lenses and motion-control, made it possible to capture extreme close-ups of the engraved sapphire, and many details such as and the diamond at the end of the stem.
The Ninfe necklace, associated with Naples.
This luxuriant floral composition of gold, diamonds and red or pink “angel skin” coral leaves is illuminated
by a central limpid cushion-cut rubellite.
The Dea Eterna clip is associated with London
A raw lapis lazuli rock supports the silhouette of the goddess Hebe.
Our main goal was to highlight the craftsmanship deployed in the creation of this superposition of strips of polished or textured yellow gold and brilliant or shuttle-cut diamonds.
