How to film every aspects of a watch manufacture ?
Jaquet Droz’ manufacture commissioned us to create a film to present their history,
their know-how and also their lastest collections.
The amount of materials to present was huge : from antique to modern timepieces and techniques, archive documents, founder’s and manufacture’s history.
To embrace that diversity, we choose to create a simple and understated setting : an almost complete dark space, punctuated by each object and scene particular lighting
The set was designed to let the camera travel through time, spaces, and spirit of the brand in a single and continuous move.

The very precise camera movement and the whole set were simulated using CGI. Once everything was prepared we used a Milo to perform the real camera move, replicating the CGI move.
