Innocent is a fresh fruit beverages company. Their previous campaigns featured live animals interacting with fruits and bottles. They wanted to extend this campaign with new flavours, and new animals, including a rabbit and a squirrel.
LIVE ANIMALS SHOOTING
The project was brought to us by Eric Delmotte who had previously directed movies for Innocent. He asked for our expertise in set creation and shooting, and for our post production abilities to produce these movies. Both sequences were shot in our studios. We created a 10×5 meters garden, with actual and fresh plants and trees. The rabbit and the squirrel were provided by a professional animal trainer. The set had to be completely protected to prevent animals (especially the squirrel) from escaping, so the camera side was closed with a glass window, as the other sides were covered with transparent plastic film.
The camera would roll and the trainer started working with the animals to bring them to the bottle.
Post production action such as hair retouching, voice recording, synchro, color grading etc. was lead in our studios. We prepared all the different versions and delivered directly to tv networks.
Shooting setup and installation was prepared before animals arrived, and the shooting took one day.
