This film complements the communications tools created for the launch of the Arceau Heure de la Lune watch by providing a more functional explanation of the timepiece and its complication module.
The movie demonstrates how mobile-dials are used to display the moon phase, while indicating hours, minutes and date. It also highlights the design details and finishes of the watch.
The movement of the discs and hands is detailed, while leaving aside an overly technical point of view, and highlighting the aesthetics and poetry of this singular complication. The image very graphic, mainly “black and white”. The codes of the campaign are taken up: chiaroscuro contrast, very present shadows… The technical elements are presented, without being described, in the form of a white wireframe. They indicate complexity without going into hyper-realistic exploration.
The rhythm is slow and the camera movements are simple in order to give the watch plenty of room to express its strong aesthetics and the quality of its materials and finishes.
